As many of the fabricated assemblies manufactured at SG Equipment demand knowledge of sophisticated alloys and procedures, our fabrication department employs aerospace industry coded welders, approved to flying part standard.

An example of the standard achieved has been the recent manufacture of a series of test pylons, used for pre-production analysis of the latest generation T900 aero engine, which was also assembled, system - proved, on-site, prior to delivery into customer.

All necessary survey / repair work, together with assemblies at GSE status are therefore carried out within this area and are in line with current aerospace certification standards.
