Used
on base to enable the removal and subsequent fitting of a replacement windscreen
unit on site.
The equipment features a fully recorded read-out of the entire procedure, providing
a permanent record of the process involved, including the various stages of
heating & setting cycles involved in either duty cycle.
The equipment has been
accepted by both Westland- Agusta and the MOD and has now been in service
since 1998
